Black Inc Carbon Road Stem

The Black Inc carbon fiber stem is the culmination of continuous design refinement for this often underestimated, but key, cockpit component.

In such an intricate part as a stem (short, but subjected to high torsional forces), the use of the longest continuous fibers is essential, as well as not having obtrusive elements in the structure such as metal inserts.

With its unique reverse bolt faceplate design, the Black Inc stem body entirely carbon fiber, for a smooth and stress-free construction. The bolt threads are left on the forged aluminum faceplate, coming in at an angle to evenly distribute clamping forces and facilitate handlebar assembly.

The blind look of the faceplate makes for an aerodynamic front profile, while the steerer clamp is smooth to protect the rider’s knees while off the saddle.

Using titanium hardware throughout the entire assembly, and an elegant matte finish, no detail has been forgotten, this stem was made for serious riders who can only have the best.
